The thesis of this essay is that Magic Carpets refer to ritual practices that played a much stronger role in ceremonial magick than is currently believed. A central part of this practice included the use of entheogens, especially those which contained the chemical scopolamine. It is primarily made up of quotes and so forms a collection of various primary texts in the Occult, such as the Greek Magical Papyri and Solomonic grimoires which relate to Magic Carpets and their associated ritual practices.
